If countries such as Turkey, Syria, Iraq and Yemen are successful in supplying and exporting Iranian handicrafts in their own name, it indicates the fact that Iranian handicrafts have the capacity to supply world markets and should not be a weakness in production.

Ignorance of branding and marketing for Iranian handicrafts has led to the failure of one of the best quality handicrafts in the world at the Dubai World Village Fair.

Ehsan Mohammadi, an activist, and designer in the field of handicrafts, added: The Global Village exhibition is held every year in Dubai with the presence of more than 90 countries, including Iran, and has more than 7 million visitors.

He said: "Different countries introduce their culture, history, and art to the world by offering handicrafts and local products in special pavilions while marketing and marketing their handicrafts."

Mohammadi stated that Iran is also present in this exhibition with a beautiful pavilion and a unique design: "Unfortunately, this valuable capacity has not been used as it should be and for various reasons such as lack of branding, weakness in advertising, marketing, and handicrafts marketing."  Our country has not been properly welcomed by visitors to this international event.

He continued: "This is while along with the valuable handicrafts of our country, some foods such as cheese puff are offered, which in no equation can justify the combined supply of these products and handicrafts."

This handicraft activist pointed to another scourge that has plagued our country's handicrafts and explained: While our country's handicraft producers and exporters have not been successful in the field of exports, some countries in the region have taken advantage of this vacuum by including the country's name.  They present their handicrafts and brands in this exhibition on Iranian handicrafts.

He stated: "While Iran is one of the leading countries in the production of handicrafts and many of our country's products are several hundred years old, but this valuable art-industry suffers from the weakness of the specialties required by today's trade and this issue has never been in the field."  Do not invest in handicrafts as a currency industry.

Mohammadi concluded: "If countries such as Turkey, Syria, Iraq and Yemen are successful in supplying and exporting Iranian handicrafts in their own name, it indicates the fact that Iranian handicrafts have the capacity to supply world markets and should not be a weakness in production."  Change behavior in business.
