Exports resume from Parviz Khan border in Kermanshah

After one-day closure of Parviz Khan border due to Eid al-Fitr, the export of goods from this official border resumed.

Governor of Qasr-e Shirin Morad Ali Tatar said on Monday that the closure of the official border of Parviz Khan on Sunday, coinciding with the first day of Eid al-Fitr, was announced by the Iraqi side.

He added: "With the resumption of trade exchanges from the official border of Parviz Khan, active Iranian businessmen resumed their commercial activities and export of goods this morning (Monday), as they did in the past."

Tatar stated: "Currently, 1,500 trucks of goods are exported to Iraq from the official border of Parviz Khan, and the priority of exports is with fruits and vegetables and perishable products."

Qasr-e Shirin in the west of Kermanshah province, with a population of more than 27,000, has two main border points of Khosravi and Parviz Khan with Iraq.

54% of Iran's non-oil exports to Iraq are made through the official border of Parviz Khan.
