China ranked first in terms of Iran’s exports with $6.8 billion during the eight months (March 21-Nov. 21) this Iranian year (began March 21, 2019), Trend reports referring to the Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture.

China’s share accounted for 25.1 percent in Iran’s total exports, according to the report.

Iran exported products worth $6.7 billion to Iraq (21.1 percent of total exports), $2.9 billion to the UAE (10.8), $2.8 billion to Turkey (10.3 percent) and $1.4 billion to Afghanistan (5.5 percent).

During the reported period, Iran imported products worth $7.2 billion (25.5 percent of all imports) from China.

In the eight months, Iran imported products worth $5.3 billion from the UAE (18.8 percent of all imports), $3.3 billion from Turkey (11.8 percent), $2.5 billion from India (8.8 percent) and $1.3 billion from Germany (4.8 percent).

During this period, exported non-oil products worth $27.4 billion and imported non-oil products worth $28.3 billion.
