The UK-held GRACE1 changes signal
Tankers trackers.com an hour ago announced that the UK-held GRACE1 VLCC supertanker changing signal.
The report added that the supertanker containing 2.1 million barrels of light Iranian crude oil is now signaling Moroccans as its next destination after having spent 5 weeks in Gibraltar, reported Iran Press.
Tankers trackers also twitted that the move might sound as joke made by the crew. However, considering the uninviting situation for the crew who are kept as prisoners in the super tanker, its less possible that it has been merely a joke.
The British overseas territory Gibraltar seized a supertanker on Thursday, July 4, claiming that the move was done on suspicion of carrying crude oil to Syria in violation of European Union (EU) sanctions against the Arab country.
