Iran's non-oil exports in the first eight months of the Iranian year increased by 13 percent compared to the same period of previous year, said deputy head for development of export market of the Trade Promotion Organizations of Iran in Hamedan.

'Many exporters have focused on the 13 neighboring countries since the beginning of the Iranian year,' said Hamid Zadboom.

Zadboom said that the Minister of Industries, Mining, and Trade has prepared a plan for that as well.

He added that the best way to escape the oppressive sanction of the US is to increase non-oil export.

Touching on exports to Iraq, he said, 'The export of Iran to Iraq was $6.4bn in the first eight months of last year, which has increased to $6.7bn this year.'

He also said that other than the neighboring countries, the main export markets of Iran are China, India, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Thailand.
