Iranian MP said that the budget bill for the next Iranian calendar year 1398 (starting on 21 March 2019) will be submitted to the parliament this week.

Seyyedeh Fatemeh Hosseini said in an exclusive interview with Iran Press reporter on Sunday that according to Iran's constitution, the government should summit the budget bill to the parliament on 16 December, but due to the Leader's opinion, the heads of three branches of government in their recent meeting decided to carry out a number of amendments (reforms).

Member of the economic commission of the parliament (Majlis) added: "The next budget is expected to be a contracted one, in which sanctions against Iran should be realistically taken into consideration. A budget in which avoidable expenses would have been reduced to a minimum,  and unavoidable (inevitable) expenses should only show a very slight growth (compared to previous year)".
