We hope Rouhani's second term leads to improving workers' living condition; Mahjoub

"Alireza Mahjoob" Iranian Parliament member, in the ceremony of the world May Day, thanked the gathering and said: "Today I feel worker community’s appeals can be heard." 

"worker community has sought to reclaim Labor Act Amendments from Parliament in support of the workers. The bill is reducing worker security and is affecting their living condition. We expect take government to reclaim the bill" he added. 

According to Mahjoub, founder of Islamic revolution, “Imam Khomeini”, always respected workers and considered them as pivots of the revolutions’ values, because workers had significant role in process of establishing the Islamic Republic.

"The issue of workers safety and security is particularly important for the leader of the country. He always advise authorities and officials to pay attention to the matter" he noted. 

Iranian Parliament member added: "During the labor week in this year, we tried to hold various programs for the workers. This year, the event is coincided with presidential election which made it more vital." 

Secretary-General of Iran’s worker house, mentioned: "Workers should further become under social and economical support of the government, because nowadays workers are facing challenges living condition and job safety and security." 

At the end, addressing Rouhani, he added: "Your attention to lowering inflation rate made us hopeful that your second term of presidency will lead to raise in production and improving workers living condition."
