The issue of truck queues at Bazargan border is solved; customs official

Iran’s top custom administration official announced that the issue of truck queues at the border has been solved.

During the past few days, Iranian Truck drivers forced to stay in long queues for crossing through Bazargan border. Reportedly, the cause has been solved and the truck queues zeroed.  

“Ahmad Barkabian”, Director General of Bazargan customs administrations regarding the long lines of Iranian trucks at the border told that with the measures that have been taken by the country’s customs administration and the proper coordinations with other neighboring organizations and specifically the Turkish side, the line has been zeroed.  

“At the moment, the truck’s passing is normal and the number of entering trucks to the country at the border have been increased significantly. With the measures that have been taken during the last two weeks, the number of vehicles passing through the borders have reached 700 per day”, he added.  

The custom administration official also announced that for the new year’s eve (Norouz) the Bazargan custom administration office is working 24 hour a day and serves the truck drivers and passengers around the clock.
