In a telephone conversation with Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad al-Maliki, Iran's Foreign Minister said Iran's support for the struggles of Palestinian people and rightful cause continues.

Iran's Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif in this telephone conversation with his Palestinian counterpart  Riyad al-Maliki emphasized the continuous support of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the struggles of the great Palestinian people in order to achieve their rights.

He also stated that the solidarity of the Palestinian people and groups in this direction is necessary.

In this telephone conversation, Riyad al-Maliki, while appreciating Iran's position in support of the Palestinian people, emphasized the firm determination of the Palestinian people and leaders in achieving their rights.

Riyad al-Maliki also said: "The Palestinians are united in their commitment to the liberation of the Palestinian territories from the occupation of the Zionist regime."

On Friday 15 August, the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran had a telephone conversation with 'Ziyad al-Nakhalah', the secretary-general of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, and 'Ismail Haniyeh', the head of the political office of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement 'Hamas', following the UAE's shameful agreement with the Zionist regime.

In these telephone conversations, the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, while condemning the agreement between the UAE and the Zionist regime to normalize relations, stressed that the Islamic Republic of Iran has always supported the true cause of the Palestinian people.

US President Donald Trump on Thursday 14 August announced an agreement between the UAE and the Zionist regime to fully normalize relations.

This agreement has been widely criticized in the Islamic world.

In recent months, the process of normalization of relations between some Arab regimes in the region, especially the Saudi and UAE regimes with Israel, has intensified.

The Arab regimes are trying to normalize relations with Israel, while the Zionist regime has been occupying many Arab-Islamic areas for years in addition to repressing the Palestinians.
