Maximum pressure policy has had no results on America. Most Americans could not find Iran on a map, and sadly, don't care about your country; an American journalist told ILNA.

In an exclusive interview, Terry A. Anderson referred to US sanctions against Iran and said that Sanctions have had a big impact on your nation, as my friends tell me. Sorry, but this is Trump.

"Trump policy is ignorant, and he is a reactionary who seems only to have policies toward other nations that are the opposite of Obama's thoughtful policies.  The only things that you can do to reduce your economic problems are to have your leaders bend to Trump's will--and give him some sort of "victory" in foreign affairs."

He added that Trump is in trouble, for this impeachment puts his hopes for re-election in jeopardy. He needs some "victories" so he can brag during the 2020 presidential campaign.

"Just let the November 2020 election take place without any provocative international moves by Iran.  There is a very high chance that a Democrat will become president in January 2021.  He or she will restart the peace process with Europe and Iran--and lift the sanctions," he confirmed.

"Best way to reduce tensions is to have your moderate leaders reach out to the world, especially Europe and Japan, and tell them that Iran is ready to resume peaceful negotiations concerning atomic power and weapons."

The U.S. journalist believes that As far as the impeachment, the House of Representatives had no choice. He tried to use a foreign power to interfere with our 2020 election.  If the House did not impeach him then our Constitution would be worthless.

"Trump is very ignorant of our own form of government and Constitution, more ignorant than any other president in my lifetime," he told.
