Trump welcomes any offer of mediation with Iran
"It is better for the United States to refrain from adopting unilateral decisions," CNN Correspondent told ILNA news agency.
Daniel R. DePetris added that Donald Trump does not really have a desire to start a war with Iran, but there are hard-liners in the Trump Cabinet, which may lead to war, conflict and tension.
"Trump and John Bolton disagree; Trump is not looking for a war with Iran, but John Bolton is looking for another war in this region," DePetris said.
He added that Trump has repeatedly talked about the need for negotiations and increased economic pressure on Iran as a factor in pulling Iranians to the negotiating table.
He believes that trump agreed to use mediators to satisfy Iran to begin talks.
He told that Trump's government exaggerates the existing facts. And this is a factor in increasing tension in the region. America must no longer interfere in the Middle East.
DePetris said "The war with Iran is a full-blown disaster for the United States. It is better for the United States to refrain from adopting unilateral decisions and act alongside other global players."
"Iran is not a weak country. Iran is a country with a population of 85 million and a huge area," CNN Correspondent said.
He also added that Iran is not the only cause of chaos in the Middle East, and there are many factors that cause chaos in the Middle East.
