Iran deputy FM leaves Tehran for European tour

Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araqchi left Tehran Monday for a European tour to Bulgaria, Austria and Slovakia.

According to Iranian Foreign Ministry media center, Araqchi is scheduled to hold meetings with his European counterparts and the foreign ministers of these three countries.

He will discuss bilateral ties, regional and international developments.

Holding meeting with Yukiya Amano, Director of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) over the latest cooperation as regard Iran nuclear deal also known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) is also on Araqchi's itinerary.

It is worth noting that the IAEA has confirmed Iran's commitment to the JCOPA in 13 consecutive reports, based on a robust verification system, proving that Iran is implementing its nuclear obligations according to the deal.
