Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qasemi announced that there was nothing on the agenda regarding Japanese Prime Minister Shinzō Abe visit to Iran.
However, Iran hails developing relations in all levels, Qasemi said.
Although Prime Minister Abe's trip had not been on the agenda, some unreliable news in Japanese media created ambiguities in this regard.
While Iranian and Japanese officials had announced that prime minister of Japan’s tour had not been on the agenda, certain media have recently quoted Japanese daily ‘Kyodo News’ as saying that Abe is scheduled to hold talks with Iranian officials in Tehran.
Embassy of Japan also rejected reports released by Japanese media.
