Iranian foreign policy experts told ILNA that Foreign Ministry should be at the center of foreign policy making.

"Sadeq Maleki", Iranian public diplomacy and political expert in his interview with ILNA, regarding the country’s diplomatic performance in the previous year told: "generally speaking, we support the 11th cabinet of Iran policies in year 1395, but in some cases and details, we face some deficiencies that need to be addressed. Foreign diplomacy needs to become independent from governments and figures."

According to Maleki, every organization in the country have its own views regarding foreign policy issues but Foreign Ministry should be at the center of such decision and policy making.

"We are not focused enough on our surrounding issues and haven’t paid as much attention to them in comparison with issues about JCPOA" he emphasized.

Maleki added that since re-election of President "Hassan Rouhani" is probable, there should be wider scope of foreign policy analysis.

"In reaching JCPOA, we’ve shown our interest in interaction and negotiations on our issues, but unfortunately the attack on Saudi Arabia embassy was a serious irreversible harm that has damaged our foreign policy" top foreign diplomacy expert underlined.

Maleki also emphasized that, in today’s world, international interactions with the world has replaced the governments’ domestic power.
