Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman slammed the terrorist bomb attacks that took place in a number of Saudi cities on Monday evening.

Extending his sympathy to families of the victims, Bahram Ghassemi underlined “as Islamic Republic of Iran has repeatedly announced terrorism is doomed in all forms and at any location around the world; all countries have to unite to fight against terrorism, its sources and its roots.”

“Terrorism knows no boundaries and nationalities today and the sole way to eradicate it is a regional as well as an international cooperation,” he stated.

Attacks started when a bomb went off close to the United States consulate in the city of Jeddah, in western Saudi Arabia. Later there was a blast near a Shia mosque in Saudi Arabia’s eastern city of Qatif. The third attack happened when a terrorist detonated his explosives near the security headquarters of the Prophet's Mosque in Saudi Arabia's western city of Medina on Monday, Press TV reported.
