Russia's permanent representative to international organizations based in Vienna tweeted on Monday that he hopes the Vienna talks on reviving the JCPOA resume soon.

"We are waiting for the resumption of the Vienna talks on JCPOA as soon as the Iranian side is ready, and we hope that this will happen in a few weeks," Mikhail Ulyanov wrote on Twitter.

Asked about the time of the new round of Vienna talks, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh said today that Iran had never left the Vienna talks.

He added that there are possible changes in the Iranian negotiating team.

So far, six rounds of talks have been held with the aim of United States to return to JCPOA, with the participation of the remaining countries in the agreement; In this regard, Tehran has stated that the lifting of all unilateral and illegal sanctions by Washington and their verification will be a condition for reaching an agreement.

Following the unilateral and illegal withdrawal of the United States from the JCPOA on May 8, 2018, by US former President Donald Trump's order, Iran tried to maintain the nuclear agreement, provided that the other parties to the agreement adhered to their obligations, but the Europeans failed in the practical measures to maintain the agreement.
