Envoy elaborates on technical aspects of Iran-IAEA joint statement
Iran’s Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the Vienna-based International Organizations elaborated on the technical aspects of the Iran-IAEA joint statement.
Kazem Gharibabadi said on Wednesday that according to the statement, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) would continue its essential verification and oversight activities for three months in accordance with the attached technical list.
All of the voluntary acts, including the implementation of the Additional Protocol were halted as an achievement of negotiation.
As of February 23, and in line with the implementation of "the Law of Strategic Action for Lifting Sanctions and Protecting Iranian Nations' Rights" adopted by Iran's Parliament, the country halted extra oversight and voluntary implementation of the Additional Protocol.
