Syria has no money to buy Iranian goods; Expert

She added that free currency, which is more than twice the price difference, so either exporter has to wait a long time for their money or lose their customers.
“On the other hand, the Syrian government has two foreign exchange markets due to a lack of foreign exchange resources. One is government and another.”
“Iraq was still the first Iranian commodity market, but after internal strife and a wave of panic in Iran, the Iranian commodity market crashed for a while,” the economic activist said.
“Some exporters were forced to stop, but Iraqi Kurdistan was still active for us,” she confirmed.
She also pointed to recent political issues with Turkmenistan and said that this country does not issue any visas to any Iranian merchant. It seems that Iran has also prevented Turkmen from entering and now our activity in this market has reached zero.”
Asked about the impact of the sanctions on Iran’s export markets, she added “We were in shock and isolation for some time after the US left the embargo, but again the private sector was able to move forward and now we have limited presence in various markets.”
