Iran's trade balance turns positive for the second time

Iran recorded a trade surplus of 246 million dollars in the past year.

For the second time, after 37 years, Iran recorded a positive commercial balance, a figure which indicates the difference between the monetary value of exports and imports.

Iran’s custom administration office, announced on Wednesday that during 12 months period in year 1395, the country recorded a 246 million dollar trade surplus which shows that Iran’s non-oil exports value has exceeded its imports by 246 million dollars.

The country’s import has also shown a 5.16 growth rate in past year.
