Labor Supreme Council official called initiation of the review of Work Act amendments senseless to workers.

According to Labor Supreme Council member, “Ali Khodaei”, recent remarks of Chairman of Parliament Social Commission’s about initiating the review of Work Act amendments are senseless to workers.

Pointing to the latest Labor Ministry’s pledge in reclaiming what he called defective bills, top labor activist regarded recent Social Commission legislative authority’s comment as “newly made” and considered them violating Labor Supreme Council’s resolutions.

Khodaei emphasized that the council member expected that the bill have been reclaimed up untill now, as workers are looking for ways to improve their union condition and position in talks but regarding this bill, “every single one of our social partner is unanimous and no one sees a reason for further continuation of any discussion” he asserted.

Voicing concern over the bill, the top labor council official told that the bill has violated the most fundamental principles of labor market and implementing it would challenge the most primitive humanistic rights of them and would lead to collapse of human relations in labor market.
