The volume of Iran-Russia trade exchanges rose by more than 80% in the current Iranian calendar year (started on March 20), said an Iranian member of parliament Ramezanali Sobhani on Monday.

Sobhani, the head of Iran-Russia Parliamentary Friendship Group, said the markets of Russia and other regional countries are ready to receive Iranian products.

He said that the Iranian merchants should benefit from the opportunity of Iran nuclear deal for exporting their products to regional markets.

The fact that Iran's trade balance with foreign countries has become positive indicates the government's genuine efforts to boost exports, the lawmaker said.
