Secretary General of Iran-Turkey Chamber of Commerce Jalal Ebrahimi said on Saturday that Iran-Turkey trade stood at $15 billion in 2014 carried out through four trade gates.
Ebrahimi told IRNA that Iran commodity exports or imports to Turkey were carried out via four gates. He said that majority of countries have one or two trade gates.
The official said oil and gas, petrochemical commodities, and agro products constitute the highest number of goods traded between the two countries.
He said that Iran, in turn, imports machinery, machine parts and chemical substances from Turkey.
