Mohammad Javanbakht, Deputy Minister of Energy and CEO of Iran Water Resources Management Company, said that one of the priorities of the government and the Ministry of Energy is to improve the level of cooperation with neighboring countries, especially the friendly and brotherly country, Iraq.

"Fortunately, the level of bilateral relations between the two countries is in a good condition and we are also trying to improve these relations in the field of water industry," he added.

"Due to our very good and long-term experiences with our neighbors in the water sector, we can exchange experiences with Iraq on various water issues and be effective in solving each other's problems," he mentioned.

"We can achieve a better level of relations in this regard by forming joint committees with Baghdad to cooperate on various water issues," he concluded.
